This is your opportunity to nominate your Client(s) as Client of the Year.
Doing great work for Food (especially) and Drink Clients is more difficult than in many other categories, whether it be advertising, packaging, new media or below-the-line: briefs are often 'tighter', budgets often lower and legislation and codes of practice on what can and can't be said or shown are often restrictive.
But, at the end of the day, great work does come out, and The FAB Awards was set up specifically to acknowledge the talents of the Agency people involved.
But, really, it shouldn't end there. Somewhere, there's a Client involved too, and their contribution can make - and break! - creative work. There are many different expressions of the idea... "Clients get the creative work they deserve..." and "Behind every great ad there's a great Client..." are but two.
In 2004 The FAB Awards introduced a new Award - The FABulous Client of the Year - to acknowledge individual Clients who in the opinion of you, their Agencies, have made an unusually significant contribution to the development of outstanding creative work.
Entries are optional and entirely free: you pay only the Entry Fee for the creative work you are entering into The FAB Awards. The FABulous Client of the Year will be judged entirely separately to the creative work itself, and on a very simple combination of two factors: the creative work entered (and to which they contributed), and the specific and outstanding contribution which you, their Agency, believe they made to it. The Judges will be entirely independent of the Organisers. Only the Winner will ever be identified in public, announced at The FAB Awards Ceremony in London.
